- My "A League of Their Own" tape is now destroyed -

- The little monster going back for more -
I happened to have the camera right next to me so I snapped some evidence. As you can see our entertainment center has no glass door and he can reach the bottom two shelves easily and is trying for the top shelf (heaven help me when he can reach the VCR). There is no way to put these up higher or child-proof. I would just have to pack them all back up. Maybe I should before I get packed away to the nut house.
To add to the terror he is beginning to have real tantrums. His squeal can be likened unto the Ringwraiths in LOTR "Fellowship of the Ring" - high pitched and ear-piercing. A few days of hearing that several times a day is enough to make anyone go nuts.
Brent, send the wonky mobile for me - I need a break.

LOL I love that you said his scream is like the Ringwraiths! I totally feel for ya, I have been there...still there in fact! We can keep each other company in the loony bin!
I have a friend who has a four year old with autism and a two year with a lot of emotional needs. One of the doctors told her that she needs to pick her battles sometimes. I thought it was a great advice because I always find myself battling and power struggling with Collin. There are some things that I just let go and some things that I have to put my foot down.
Another thing that I have been trying lately is to simplify my life. I can't tell you how many things I have had to just pack away and bring them back who knows when. Welcome to terrible two's. It starts about 18 months and goes about 3.5 years. We need so much help. I have been praying for patience a lot lately and with a new baby coming, I am going to need it even more =)
I am there with you. Thanks for sharing your thought and experiences...
